Because the rope is made of clear, heat-resistant PVC tubing with fiery red bulbs inside, it virtually disappears from plain view when turned off. With a newly developed UV inhibitor, you can even install this product outdoors without worry. Each full spool is UL listed, however, cutting LED rope light spool in the field voids the UL Listing.
